Why Is Jersey Milk Different?

Jersey cows are small but their milk is rich. Here is what makes Jersey milk stand out.

Why Is Jersey Milk Different?

Jersey is a dairy cow breed originating from the island of Jersey in the English Channel.

A richer milk

Jersey milk has a higher fat and protein content than many breeds, giving it a creamier texture and richer taste — an advantage for making cheese, yoghurt and butter too.

Animal welfare and quality

Milk quality is directly related to the cow’s health and nutrition. On our farm, our Jersey cows are raised in clean barns, on balanced rations and under veterinary supervision.
